The Western Research Forum (WRF) is an interdisciplinary research conference that provides students with the opportunity to reach beyond their usual, often discipline-specific subject matter and ways of writing, and to engage with an interdisciplinary audience on matters of importance to researchers in a variety of disciplines.
This year’s conference enthusiastically welcomes papers and creative projects that touch on, brush up against, or can speak to the theme of Advances at a Crossroads. This might refer to:
- Negative research results and their significance
- Unexpected challenges
- Unique collaborations
- Points of departure
- Alternative approaches to research or methodology
- New frontiers and the 21st century
- And many more!
The conference will take place in the IGAB Atrium and lunch and an evening reception will take place in the Grad Club.
